I wanted a cheaper travel iron but this one didn't meet my expectations. Firstly it smelled so awful that I didn't even fully straighten my hair, I had to turn it off and open the windows. With a baby at home, I really don't need weird fumes in the air. Second, he grabbed my hair several times. Do not buy. My Paul Mitchell hair straightener is much nicer, no smell.
