I have never needled or embroidered so I decided to start with starter kits. The kit contains everything you need: a hoop, needles, threads, a needle threader and even small scissors for threads. This set even has a little strawberry you can put pins in which is awesome! The fabric has an outline print which is a great guide for those like me who have no idea what to do or can't come up with designs of their own. There are different types of stitches that can be used, there are instructions in the kit on how to make them but I couldn't figure them out so I just watched YouTube videos. The colors do not match the pictures, but that is not critical. Good quality kit. It takes a lot of time, but the end product is worth it!
