This product is completely unsuitable for car seats. I have a 2017 Hyundai Sonata. First I applied a very thick coat, waited 24 hours, then applied a second coat with a brush. Water penetrates directly into the seat. I applied another coat 24 hours later and then applied two more coats over the next two days. Check out the video of the cold water test this morning. The product basically does not fulfill its hydrophobic tasks.
