I was looking for a blender to replace my old Vitamix that I had for many years. I wanted something with more digital capabilities and came across this Jawz mixer. Right out of the box, this thing felt heavy and sturdy, which is a good sign. I liked how the touchpad is illuminated. Very high tech! One test I always like to do with any blender is frozen chunks of fruit, especially bananas. If a mixer can't handle that, and many can't, then it won't serve my mixing needs. We use blenders for almost everything in my house, so having something heavy is important. (FYI, my old Vitamix would have handled this like a champ). Here! The Jawz blender destroyed the test in seconds. Note. I tested this by simply pressing the "smoothie" button. I usually turn up the speed on my old blender to full mix. I was happy to see that I could get the same results with a click of a button. You could see the blended pattern (see photo) which I thought was pretty neat. I'll be testing this further over the next few weeks, but overall I'm very happy with my first impressions. Thing seems good!
