Exactly what I was looking for

I recently started a walking program for my health and wanted a simple pedometer to track my steps and distance. I have tried hip pedometers and found that they are not very accurate. I also tried the type that wears on the wrist and shows heart rate etc. It's not very accurate either, since I can move my arms all day without taking a single step and it registers as a step. Also, it needs to be charged often. I wanted something simple and precise and found it. The first thing I do after putting my shoes on is reset my pedometer and walk down the sidewalk. I know this is correct because when I check it on return it always logs about the same number of steps (within 10-20). It never needs to be charged and I don't have to worry about forgetting to put it on unless I forget my shoes. This is exactly what I was looking for and I am planning to buy a second one to put on another pair of shoes.
