Review on 🍵 Glacier Blue Kenmore Broadway 1.5-Quart Enamel on Steel Tea Kettle by Mazie Laporte

Great kettle. simple design, serves its purpose. is it just a kettle Apparently not. After my expensive teapot overcooked and the enamel on the burner melted (the pipe was left open; grrrr!), I needed a new teapot. And a new burner. I also ended up with enamel as my old teapot chipped and flaked after 10 years. I was also quite surprised to find that most kettles have complaints of rust, leaks, bad solder joints causing leaks, bad grip position, etc. Who would have thought? I almost gave up and went with boiling water in a pot! Saw the Kenmore Halsted Teapot and because it (the teapot) had the best reviews; I chose to order in stainless steel (I absolutely have enamel). It's been a few weeks now and I'm still very happy with it. It doesn't drip, hot water doesn't spill out of the spout, nice loud whistle, balanced feeling, and dummies have a hard time keeping the whistle open while boiling water because they don't like to hear the whistle. I am very happy with it.
