This is a Vera Bradley Collegiate Collegiate Vera Tote Bag Review in Black/White (Purdue) I am a huge fan of Vera Bradley purses and bags and have owned a lot of them. I was looking forward to it and liked it with a few caveats. If you've never owned a Vera Bradley handbag or purse, you're in for a treat. Their bags are high quality and lightweight which is a big plus for me. I always give their bags 5 stars and many of them have been and have been used for years and they are all still in excellent condition. As with their other bags, the zippers on this bag work well and there are many different compartments inside the bag. Storage both inside and outside. The bag closes with a zipper at the top to keep things in the bag more secure. My only gripe - and it's a small one because I still love this bag - is that I wish it was crossbody style since it's so big. The handles just aren't big enough for that. Also, there are no zippered compartments inside the wallet, which is unusual - I usually use these compartments in place of a wallet, but there are open pockets instead. It's still a good bag, even though it's advertised as a school bag. In terms of design, the Perdue P is somehow camouflaged on the front so you can enjoy it as a gorgeous bright black and white bag.
