This item runs true to size - we usually take a size up as they have a wide foot. Bought these for a wedding where my son was the ring bearer. He has flat feet and severe pain in his legs. The material was soft and he didn't complain about his feet through 8 hours of standing, wedding photos and a little sleep. Knowing how easily his feet hurt, I think this shoe is probably comfortable for long-term wear. It can be used for an evening or everyday look. I recommend it for the price and versatility.
