This works great for our 10 month old son, he's just starting to pull himself up to the crib and is trying to get out! After almost turning around I started looking on Amazon for another crib because the one we have can't be lowered so he couldn't get up. I noticed this while searching and after reading the reviews we decided to give it a try. I personally like it! He can still pull himself up if we leave the flaps open, so he can still learn to grow when we're around to help him. Once our son got used to it, he stopped trying to climb while he was resting, so he falls asleep faster because his brain isn't focused on hitting the milestone until it's time to rest. The beauty of the grille is that our son can still see his pal's stars on the walls and ceiling. My husband will turn it into a reading nook when our son no longer needs it in his crib. I recommend this product. He helped me sleep and was less worried about falling out of bed and hurting himself.
