The pictures were misleading. I hoped the diaper would snap from back to front, like most cloth diapers but it is reversed, making it difficult to put on. Also some of the snaps are attached inside the mesh layer and some on top. I don't want the plastic snaps touching my baby's bottom, it looks like it would be uncomfortable. The print is cute and the inner lining is soft. As far as absorbency, swim diapers (disposable and reusable) are meant to only hold in solids, not pee. So I wouldn't put this diaper on baby until you're about to get in the water. The elastic band is sewn right on the top, sides and bottom, not hidden like other diapers such as the bumgenius. Also this diaper fit my 7 month old on the widest attachment, but was huge in the rise, even with the rise snapped at the smallest setting. Although the diaper didn't work out for us, we received a refund and customer service was wonderful in resolving our issue. If you are okay with exposed snaps touching baby's skin and snapping the diaper from front to back, this is for you! If not, perhaps the thirsties swim diaper will work better! That is the one we ended up going with, and prefer to this one.
