I bought the gas cap in the first place because small children around me kept opening my gas cap. I was afraid they would put things in my tank. Since I don't have a gas tank in my car, I thought this was a good option. The cap is not as thick as my original gas cap but seems solid enough. The lid slides open easily and closes with a quick twist. My problem was unlocking it. To open the lid, you have to press the lid fairly hard after turning the key. I'm sure it won't be that hard to remove over time. All in all, this is a decent stub.
