Review on πŸš‚ Enhance Imaginative Play with VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Freight Train and Tanker Car Set by Chris Graves

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Suitable for children, not very cornering

My son loves all Smart Wheels and especially this train. It's motorized! Whoo boy! There's a switch on the side to toggle between motorized and manual (and a very precariously placed off button in between), so the train can easily roll on its own like its other smart wheels do, or. set it to motorized and squeak with delight when it gets stuck on the wall. That's an obvious downside to the poor train: if it hits a wall or other surface, frankly, it'll keep slamming into it with its little engine, trying to turn around, and the ensuing noise will be LOUD. Loud, causing headaches. You can't run a train for more than a minute without flipping it (or constantly telling your toddler to turn around) lest it get stuck and endlessly bounce against the wall. I just can't get rid of the track because of this, my son loves it too much and the motor eats up the battery so after a couple of weeks he just has to play with his hand. This can be a problem if your child just needs a motorized train, but for kids who love their trains anyway, you'll be glad to know that our train will continue to sing and talk for weeks, months, even when the batteries die . Start the engine. It's a mystery.
