I didn't want to buy it. I was looking for one I bought 6 months ago that could "lay flat" in the suitcase. I decided I wanted my own and when my original plan didn't work I decided to give this one a try. Pros: - The size is very generous but not ridiculously large. It still fits in my suitcase.- The organization was thought through down to the smallest detail. Wet bags, dry tight bags, tassel bags, you name it, there's a pocket/ribbed holder for that. - I even have a hair dryer! All closed without crushing the contents - Everything arrived at its destination intact Cons: - I know you should theoretically hang this, but I'm not sure how strong the hook will be for a fully loaded load. down bag. Since all bags are what they are, I don't see an ideal use for hanging either. It's probably a personal preference, so I wouldn't go without this bag for that reason alone. To make a long story short, I have both an XL toiletry bag and this one. I would choose this bag again. I am very happy. With my choice, the flat version would not have been able to handle some of the bulkier stuff I wanted to take with me.
