I wanted to plug the headphones into my "smart tv" which for some reason doesn't have a standard headphone jack or standard RCA -Had connectors but oddly enough it had a Toslink digital optical output and with this converter I was able to connect my TV to my headphones. However, I would recommend adding an amplifier, e.g. B. the Pyle-Pro PHA40 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003M8NVFS) as even that is not the fault of the converter. TVs are very quiet and you need an amplifier for them, but this is cheap and good.
