At first I had a very hard time engaging the lock. Once I understood that, it became easier. My biggest problem is liability. I've pinned them to various drawers and they've all popped up more than once. Some didn't even touch and broke up anyway. I have followed all the instructions. In desperation I used super glue. Good.
