They were perfect for attaching my small thin delicate cross to my delicate white gold necklace. I specifically wanted something tiny because the cross and chain are small. I wear my necklace 24 hours a day (so it's exposed to sweat from my workouts, soaps and shower water, lotions and creams, etc. every day) so the last open jump ring I started quickly faded. I know they will eventually do the same so I bought 20 of these. I think the price was pretty reasonable considering each will last at least a month before starting to fade (hopefully longer!). I don't have any jewelry tools so I just used other household tools (and some tweezers) and had no trouble opening or closing them. When I closed the ring it looked completely solid (no open space/gap).
