I took it for installation on an ASUS board, which does not have a processor fan control by voltage. Yes, it was not a modern board, based on the B85 chipset, but even a number of modern ASUS boards may not have support for controlling the processor cooler fan by voltage, rather than PWM. The i5-4590 copes with the task of cooling perfectly, temperatures do not go beyond 60 degrees even under load. Yes, the fan is a little noisy, but nothing critical. Of course, it is not suitable for overclocking, and I would not bet on processors with 6 or more cores. But for modern (10th or 11th generation) Core i3 is quite a decent choice.
