If you have devices that use large transformers (aka "wall warts" or power supplies), you'll quickly realize how useful they are. I use a few in locations where a large power supply will limit use of all available outlets, and I've also used them on the back of a voltage stabilizer in my AV cabinet to allow those large power supplies to be plugged in.
