TL:DR-This machine lives up to its reputation as one of the best 3D printers on the market with incredible print quality and speed. There's a moderate learning curve with the software, and the cleanup might be VERY messy, but if you do your research first and are careful, it's just amazing. Well, as the reviews call it. The quality of the prints is amazing and once I got it lined up correctly it worked like a charm. However, there is a learning curve that can be intimidating when you're not expecting it. You should also consider using the included software and figuring out how to work with the resin. Software-ChiTuBox is an Elegoo partnership and is a very reliable and dependable slicing software. This is where you will succeed or fail with about 90% of the prints you make. Learn how to install supports. Keep researching. Be prepared that the first 4-10 prints you make will fail in whole or in part because the supports don't get a critical island and something isn't fastened properly. Expect to spend around 30 to 90 minutes installing the supports each time you set up a model for printing to ensure all the small details are attached properly and printed correctly. But once you get comfortable with it, it will start to flow. You can begin to see where the problematic moments will occur and prepare for them. Also, unless you set the percentages to more than 100% support, the automatic support won't let you down. Just prepare for manual assistance and you're done. Resin. There are many different resin colors and types, and when setting up your device and print profile, you want to be sure to enter the resin manufacturer's recommended exposure and transport times. Also remember that temperature has a big impact on how something prints. Temperatures below about 68-70 degrees Fahrenheit will cause the resin to not cure properly and cause problems. If your print fails, some cured resin may also remain in the tank and will need to be cleaned and emptied. Be careful with the tank as the bottom is a thin sheet of plastic under slight tension and if you pull the resin roughly you will scratch and destroy the FEP sheet. They're cheap and pretty easy to replace, but that's definitely not mentioned in the manuals. Plus, Sprayway's alcohol-based glass cleaner does a great job cleaning tanks and workbenches MUCH faster and easier.
