This was the perfect replacement for my 1949 Ford 8N tractor. I have a 12v rebuild and this 6v solenoid and 6v starter was the easiest thing I have ever installed. I took off the old starter which was literally falling apart, put in a new one, screwed in two bolts and it was like rain. It would have been great if the screws for the solenoid had been included as my originals were a bit worn. It came with new washers and nuts which was nice.
