Economical. We use their paper which we also bought from Amazon which seems to cost well too. We checked in a handful of towels so I suspect we're using a lot less paper. We never did a cost analysis as I figured rolls "should" be cheaper than C-Towels, but you may need to buy Georgia-Pacific(?) rolls so you may be locked into them (razors and blades) . The block works fine. You can adjust the length of paper used, which I would recommend, and pay attention to how many sheets people are using. We've hired a medium format, but I've found that more employees take 2 sheets, so a large sheet might cost us less paper. It is easy to set up, runs on batteries and requires no cables. It's quiet which is one of the reasons we went that direction, compared to a hair dryer which seemed like a good idea but was too noisy for those with desks/offices nearby. The dryer runs all day. I think you could save a little and use a non-powered version where you pull out a piece and cut it as you pull, but it seems worth it.
