Adapter 1/4" hexagon to 3/8" square. The head is plated in polished chrome that resists corrosion and helps keep it clean. I chose this universal socket despite having full SAE and metric socket sets. I can use this socket and adapter with my drill to drive screws. However, this head is the best tool when the head wears out, twisting hooks or working with custom shapes.
