Review on Renewed Samsung S20 Ultra Cosmic Black 5G Factory Unlocked SM-G988U1 with US Warranty and 128GB Storage by Anastazja Miller ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor product, below average quality.

Pre-ordered PCT pipe was delivered on March 3. Future events may cause a reevaluation to be made, but for the time being, this is the best possible prognosis. Just upgraded from the S8+ and now using the S9+ as well. "Tipaflagman," yet it seems that Samsung's market outlook for 2022 has shifted from hopeful to pessimistic. The lowest quality hardware, similarly unattractively packaged. There are no extras, not even an earbud pouch. Large trash can with an opening big enough for a lid. You can tell that the S20 Ultra is going to lose this round by picking up a box from the S8 + and observing its implementation and the bundle choice. Although I recognize the strategic value of focusing on the weakest color variants of the "flagship type," I find this approach to be unsuccessful. True, only the slothful would forget the importance of remembering. I get that Samsung is attempting to sell watches and fitness bracelets by omitting heart rate sensors, but marketing an 8K camera that records a minute video in half a gig while only offering 128 GB of memory in the "flagship type" seems like an excuse to sell more memory cards. I'm sorry, but for that amount of money, I'd like to have some say in the "flagship type" I purchase. And even though it's not true, "and so they'll buy"! The camera has yet to impress us; shots taken without people in them look identical to those taken on the S9+, which is now two years old; portraits look unnatural because of the skin tone and artificial smoothness; and in 4K video, the S9+ performs better than this brick based on subjective estimates of smoothness, color rendering, and dynamic range. Shooting video in 8K mode necessitates the use of a steady tripod and bright, sunny weather; everything else is just extra. Because autofocus is so unreliable, there are occasions when I simply don't bother trying to take a picture. More than a 10x zoom is just a marketing gimmick, since most people won't even bother using it at that magnification anyhow. Regarding energy efficiency, I won't bother restating the obvious; rather, I'll merely confirm what everyone else has said. My own conclusion is disappointment because there was no "wow" factor. And the tiny things and the bad moments just make it all worse.

Pros
  • 120 hertz gives smoothness but eats batteries. Screen if your eyes are not sensitive to PWM. Less unneeded software is pre-installed compared to previous models.
Cons
  • - Uses up power like it's not even there. No memory expansion options, and a total of 128 GB on board Body thickness 8.8 is claimed in marketing materials, but in reality, the camera module reveals a thickness closer to 9.5. 12 millimeters - There is no place to safely conceal the camera unit - Hardware - Speaker enclosure with internal reverberation Weighing in at - Cons: - Expensiveness - Ineffective out-of-the-box autofocus Ultimately, too. They attempted to address the camera's noisy matrix with code, but the final product looks bad due to poor post-processing.
