Review on πŸͺ’ Philips Norelco Shaver 5300: Rechargeable Wet & Dry Shaver with Pop-Up Trimmer - S5588/81 by Nikki Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Norelco should learn how to make a razor

pros1. Excellent battery technology.2. A very close shave is quickly achieved over most of the face. Disadvantages1. The on/off switch is too smooth. When shaving I now find myself constantly changing the grip on the body of the razor. I often find myself resting my thumb on the power button. If you do this, the shaver will switch off. This is very annoying.2. The new head design looks cool and probably contributes to a smoother shave. Unfortunately, Norelco cut out the plastic corners around each of the floating heads. Try shaving your cheek below the burn line and along your ear. This area is inaccessible as the square plastic tips rest against the inner edge of the ear, preventing the razor from getting close to the ear. What a nonsense. Her previous head designs over the last half century included beautiful curves around the head. yes: 3. I have been using Norelco razors since 1972. Each came with a brush, plastic head guard, charger and travel case. This razor comes without a sheath. What, they couldn't turn in a $1 holdall? Stupid misstake. The razor is very long and doesn't fit in any of my other 10 Norelco suitcases. Yes, I could pay another $40 or more for a deluxe version of the same razor, but it just doesn't make sense.
