Cons: First, the temperature setting function doesn't work very well. For example I like to brew some of my £200 teas. If you set the kettle to 200f it will beep, but you can tell by the bubbling sound that it's still heating up. So you can take the kettle out of the unit and when you put it back in, it often shows 207f or 208f instead of *not* 200f. and finally beeps. So when you change the kettle it approaches 209f or 210f and doesn't really boil. This is normal, but it is clear that a better calibration could indeed be used. The grip is pretty sticky in person. In general, the device makes a decent impression. The lid is really terrible. If you've just boiled water and need to refill it for your next brew, the design is completely non-detachable when the device is hot. It's difficult to grab the dumb handle and pull it straight up without risking scalding because you have to pull up and the handle is very weak. an ordinary kettle and makes instant brewing almost impossible. Pros: The base unit looks good. One of the cheapest temperature setting options.
