Review on πŸ’Ύ K&ZZ 64GB Flash Drive: Metal Thumb Drive, USB 2.0, Waterproof Memory Stick - Black/Silver by Todd Amarsingh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Inexpensive USB sticks, but somewhat slow read and write speeds.

K&ZZ Dual Flash 64GB drives are sleek with a minimalist metal design that makes them durable. They can be plugged into adjacent USB ports without interfering with other devices. B. a key ring or lanyard so as not to lose the protective cap since it is not present. Two 64GB K&ZZ flash drives are advertised as USB 2.0, so don't expect high speeds. They achieved a write speed of 13.2 MB/s, but when copying large files, the average write speed was between 3.5 and 4.5 MB/s. Read speeds were slightly faster, reaching burst read speeds of 22 MB/s, and average read speeds were quite good at 17.1 MB/s. both drives and still achieved the same write and read speeds. I always fill media (USB sticks, SD cards, etc.) I have seen many complaints that storage media does not have the capacity specified by the manufacturer, I have to explain the capacity discrepancy between the capacity of the media specified by the manufacturers and the capacity of the windows -OS manufacturer storage media measure capacity in decimal system (1GB = 1000MB / 64GB = 64 000MB) Hard disk space measurement system (1GB = 1024MB / 64GB = 58 500MB) Because of this, your flash drive , your hard disk or SD card have a smaller capacity than specified by the manufacturers. In this case, manufacturers and operating systems such as MacOS and Linux use the correct measurement (giga prefix = 1000). K&ZZ USB sticks have 18 minutes to write a 5GB video file. I have a slow USB 3.0 stick that could write the same video file at 1:20 and I thought it was slow. The USB sticks from K&ZZ-Sticks came with exFAT format so o does not support files larger than 4GB. Formatting drives in a different format (NTFS/FAT32) did not improve read or write speeds. The discs are inexpensive and very good for use with small files (Word, Excel, PDF, MP3, etc.) or they can be used as bootable discs. The reading speed of K&ZZ USB flash drives is perfect even for 1080P videos. USB flash drives can be fine for media storage, but storing these files takes time.
