This is one of my favorite purchases of all time. A 14" string of lights was added to a pair of 12" mirrored squares pinned to the wall and corner of my bedroom where I improvised the makeup and the hair area is now flush with the theater dressing rooms. With the exception of the latter, the mirror lights don't have the dimming and color customization of this incredibly well designed BIG light box! You are BRIGHT. In order to get a decent photo, I had to reduce their power to about 50%, as well as adjust the entire range from cool to warm white. The individual round lamp bases (that attach to the mirror) can be turned left or right like knobs to shorten or lengthen each individual cord between the bulbs (an ability I didn't expect), which is useful for all practical purposes almost disappear. I cleaned the mirror twice with 91% isopropyl alcohol, then followed the directions, made a few adjustments to suit personal taste and got results in pictures in about 20 minutes, no hassles, no fuss, easy and no fuss. If the long-term results are less appealing than this promising start, I'll update accordingly, but so far with the total of $35 and less than an hour invested in this project, I have the equivalent of a professional theatrical wardrobe of $1,000 dollars earned.
