Overall a good quality knee brace

I bought this knee brace because I tore my meniscus and needed the support get me around for a few weeks. The overall compression is nice. The side "hinges" help with resistance when bending my knee and provide stability from side-to-side movement. The "hinges" aren't the most comfortable thing in the world against the side of my knee, but I don't see how anything that would need to be against the sides of your knee to support it would be very comfortable. So, I wouldn't consit this a flaw. It's just the nature of it. I feel like it's obvious, but worth mentioning, this brace doesn't do much for preventing/immobilizing pivot motion. From my research, it seems that you'd have to get up into the $100+ range to get that.

Pros
  • Bought one for each knee. I would say they run a but small, so go up a size. Support is wonderful.
Cons
  • There is a learning curve associated with properly putting on and adjusting the DRWELLAND Hinged Knee Brace Support, which may make it less accessible for those with limited mobility or dexterity
