I fixed an old Alienware netbook (M11X R3) and this little chip changed the world! The Wireless N chip that came with the laptop could barely handle 20-30Mbps and the ping was poor. After installing this chip, the 200Mbps WiFi in my house maxes out on fast.com and speedtest.net with very low latency (less than 20ms). The drivers were easy to install, as was the card, and it even came with two screws, which was nice as my laptop was missing one so I could add a second one. Great map, bring your computer into the modern age! If you need full speeds, consider replacing aging hard drives with SSDs, as internet speed must provide room to "insert" data when you need fast download speeds. For your health!
