Wow! I'm so glad I found her at Revain. I had an old sealant with similar caps that worked fine so I knew they existed. I've searched for covers in several places to no avail. Even HD didn't have that. The two staff I spoke to didn't even know what I was asking about. I'm in an old house and I've been busy sealing all sorts of things. Nice; Sealant for gutters, cracks in concrete, wooden surfaces and plaster. Before buying, I did the nail and tape trick with a small plaster crack repair. We had rain so I stopped in this project. I actually broke my caulking gun trying to dose this product a week later. While the sealer was still good it dried up in the hole preventing a nice clean line. What I particularly like about this style is the part (the nail) that goes into the top of the caulk tube. I've been using them for a while. I keep the sealer upright in a cupboard and when I'm ready to work on another area the sealer stays like new. Just remove the cap, wipe the nail. sealant and put the cap back on.
