Review on High-Speed USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) 2-Port Type C Expansion Card with Asmedia Chipset for Windows & Linux – PCI-E PCI Express 4X (2XType C) by Andrew Agarwal

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A bit fiddly but works after reinstallation

Card installed, Windows 10 recognized it. However, it also supplied power and the connected device (hard drive) was not visible. I deleted the card in device manager, didn't help. Based on some of the comments here I reinstalled the map and it worked great. Very good transfer speed with USB-C hard drive. A day later there was a problem when the card gave power again. But I found that I hadn't put the screw back in, so the card fell out when I plugged in the USB-C device. So make sure the card is installed and secured with a screw. I'm giving 4 stars for now and may upgrade to 5 stars once I see how reliable the card is.
