The manufacturer has integrated the KickBack Control system into this model of the puncher. Which turns off the engine when the drill jams. In my opinion, this system is superfluous and interferes with the normal operation of the perforator. This rotary hammer, like others, has a safety clutch. It is triggered when the drill is jammed and performs the same function as the KickBack Control. The difference in these two functions is only in their implementation. The safety clutch is implemented mechanically, and the KickBack Control electronically. Moreover, if the safety clutch reacts only to the jamming of the drill and does not affect the main operation of the hammer drill, then KickBack Control has some "inhibition" in its work. I can clearly feel this "slowness". It appears when you press the start button. Without this function, the engine starts instantly, and with it there is a delay in starting the engine. This delay is not long. Just a fraction of a second. But it is these fractions of a second when starting the engine, for some reason, that interfere with my work. Maybe this is a deeply individual feeling, based on a long-term (more than twenty years) habit of working with other perforators. But, after trying to work with this puncher, I could not put up with a feeling of some discomfort and returned the puncher to the seller. To eliminate the possibility that this is a problem with a particular rotary hammer, and not all rotary hammers of this model, I tried this rotary hammer by taking it from another seller. Feelings are the same. It should be noted that the described events took place at a time when Bosch manufacturers had just begun to use the KickBack Control function in this rotary hammer model. This was a few years ago, and perhaps something has changed since then.
