Mine comes with 9 fine mesh blades instead of just 1 and I'm pretty sure it has more than 2 non-stick blades I've processed 3 batches of zucchini so far and I like it. I used olive oil for the first two batches and they came out fine, but I didn't like the oily residue. I switched to egg whites to help the spices stick and that picked it all up a few notches. I originally bought the Excalibur but had to return it because the timer was a dial and didn't stop when it hit 0 but kept restarting. It has a digital timer. I also like that the front door is transparent so you can see the food being dried. I'd say it's quieter than the Excalibur, but it has an alarm when the timer runs out, which woke me up.
