Like the previous reviewer I couldn't use it on 3/8 inch line without leaving a little lip. Difficult to describe, but definitely wrong. Also, the guide is too simple, like a bad Taiwanese translation, and nothing is said about simple rockets, only doubles and bubbles. After thinking about this thing and dragging and adjusting to get these little twisted jagged highlights, I have absolutely no idea what everyone is so impressed with. Even the tools and packaging look cheap, flea market like. Maybe just don't use it for 3/8" cord? EDIT: All of the above is true, but I eventually learned how to flare 3/8" cord and made reliable flares. I just sat there for an hour and kept making rockets until I got used to the pressure on the handle - not too much I'll add two stars though.
