This cooler is slightly more expensive than others, but it's clearly a quality unit. There is one problem though - the Intel mounting bracket (for the back of the motherboard) is a flimsy piece of junk! The AMD brackets are made of solid metal and will certainly serve you well. The Intel bracket is made of soft plastic. It has captive nuts that attach to the posts on the front of the MB. These nuts slide through channels to fit different MBs. The only thing holding the nut in the channel is a tiny protrusion molded into the groove. If you apply torque to the post without holding the bracket absolutely flush, the nut will pop out of the bracket and your bracket will now only be secured at three corners. And once that nut jumps out, she won't stay in place. I ended up using super glue to attach the nut to the bracket. This part should be metal or at least plastic with metal nuts and washers to secure it. You have to be very careful when using this on an Intel build. Or you can use an equivalent MSI cooler, which is louder but has a secure mounting system.
