They would work straight away. The answer is yes. But,,,, as a journeyman handyman who is about to retire, I may not be the person asking to write a review on these slanted braces. One would expect them to be easily installed by an average person with average skill. to not cut yourself with burrs (razor sharp edges from machining) and to have a nice lined appearance when finished. That's not the case. I had to remove burrs and sharp edges from the ends of the staple stock. The holes and slots are not equidistant from the ends of the staple material. I actually took the bracket's angled rods to work and routed the ends so that the angled holes on the ends of the rods were the same size as the ends of the rods. The mounting slots have everything you need. After that everything was nice, even and nicely assembled.
