This is the one you want to buy

30 year old chef - needed a grater. Wanted something better than regular metal - always bent/twisted/pulled inward when real pressure was applied. Spent time looking through the options and chose these for the following reasons: - Frame/Reinforced top and bottom - Full cut side - Micro gliders are nice and simple and make a great product, but nothing pulls the maximum flavor out of a citrus peel like that Application of zeal. - Large size - easier to craft large items and quantities - Bulge design - hoped this would eliminate skin damage on knuckles Well after using it a number of times over the past few months I can honestly say it just hasn't satisfied mine Expectations/hopes it may be the best grater I've ever used. The metal was actually stronger than I expected, and the bottom plastic reinforcement kept it from sliding across my chopping board (wood) when I was mashing potatoes. The highlights page worked beautifully. The convex design is a HUGE improvement over the standard flat design. For me, this is a qualitative leap compared to standard products. I would never consider buying another one without a raised design. You can wrap your hand further around the product without injuring the skin on the knuckles, reducing the force required to grip the product with your fingertips, reducing finger fatigue. Put simply, you can get more done, faster and easier. This is a really well made grater and I highly recommend it.
