I bought a couple of these for my various DS4/PS4 controllers as I prefer these sticks to the bulbous mushroom domes on the DS4 PS controller joysticks. Usually buy them on eBay and have experienced varying quality over the years. If they are of poor quality, they wear out much faster and a clear sign of sloppy manufacture is a clearly visible seam on the outer edge of the stick on both sides. The seam is just a by-product of how these types of sticks are shaped and made, but believe me, they're not all created equal. will wear out quickly like others I've tried and overall I'm happy with my purchase. However, I made the mistake of assuming they would work with my DualSense5 controller as I've always used them with DualShock4 controllers. The sticks appeared (at least at first glance) to be almost identical, but they weren't. These sticks have a smaller stem and don't sit as low as needed to work with the PS5/DS5 controller. As a result, the dome will scratch and snag on the base of the joystick, rendering them unusable in DualSense5 controllers. great sticks.
