When my old chopper stopped working I found this wonderful one to replace it. It can shred up to 8 pages at a time. This means I can destroy an entire junk mail envelope at once without opening it first. Schröder is up to the task! It is shredded by a cross cut, leaving less space in the bin. The bin also has a small window so you can see how full it is and know when it's time to empty it. The ejector itself has a handle to lift it out of the bin, so that's another handy perk. I really like this grinder and would recommend buying it. It's a fair price and worth the money.
