Metal/alum in the wrong places, plastic in the wrong places. I broke these [similar to other cell phone bike mounts] within a month. Of course, you probably want to blame: 1) me 2) my setup 3) my bike, but I assure you I didn't twist anything and my only mistake was riding with the pixel properly adjusted and rotating the screen a few times . Before you know it, the plastic mounting system on the bottom has ripped. Wonderful. I glued it with super glue but you can imagine how it will be. I was lucky that this will last another 3 months. Background: amateur cyclists, 70 km/h, somewhat spongy asphalt, otherwise mostly smooth conditions.
