So I bought this spike finder to mount the speaker on the wall above a 75 inch TV. I knew I had a mostly hollow drywall. Anyway, he could tell me where a wire was. However, the question arose about the accuracy of finding a metal pin behind the wall. He didn't warn me that there was metal behind part of my drywall. I don't know if I got the wrong one or if it was too deep. As you can see in the photo I drilled a big hole thinking it was empty but it wasn't. And that, although the Spikefinder didn't find anything there. Definitely not too happy with the product. I'll test it for a few more days to see it, but most likely I'll return it.
