Review on 🌸 BISSELL Pro Max Clean + Refresh Spring & Renewal Formula with Febreze Freshness, 48 fl oz. by Barbara Evans

I bought this after trying Bissell's urine formula and antibacterial formula with terrible results. My cat once peed in one spot on my carpet. My carpet is only 2.5 years old and in good condition so other than the urine it didn't smell that bad. The other 2 Bissell formulas didn't fight urine odor so I decided to try these. Spring. that also does not work. My carpet smelled great the day after I used it and I imagine it would be great if you just want to freshen up your carpets. However, pet odors are not removed. I ran my hand over where the urine was and my hand started smelling like urine (and no, my cat stopped peeing there once it was kicked out of that particular room). Also, my carpet has ugly sticky soap residue even though I vacuumed up all the liquid left over from shampooing. I had to shampoo the area four times but I think a carpet cleaner doesn't leave a residue which is known to attract dust and dirt. Bottom Line: If you want to freshen up your carpets, they smell great, so go for it. If your cat has peed and you want to get rid of that stench, don't worry. I will look for another brand of carpet grout that might help.
