I came across a video about this product that was posted by reviewer James. The toaster is bright red, which goes well with my kitchen. That's good because the toaster will always be on my countertop. I've changed the hot dog toasting instructions as suggested by columnist James. I use regular buns from our local market and Ball Park Angus sausages. You flatten the buns a little first, then they brown a little, and not just around the edges. Place the dogs and buns in the toaster on setting "5" and press the lever. (You'll have to press the buns down with your hand.) When the dogs emerge, I flip them over, then flip the buns face-out. Then I set the toaster to level "1" or "2". and push the lever again. Keep an eye on the toaster and when the dogs look just how you like them, hit the stop button. Voila. We like our hot dogs, "blackened" in places, spicy and juicy. This method offers it, while simply adding it, even on the highest setting, only keeps them warm. Roasting them a little longer also makes dogs taste like you roasted them over a campfire. Cleaning up will take a lot of time. every time too, and your gadget will keep its "arrived" look longer.
