I used this product (as new) after jaw reconstructive surgery in June. I bought several bottles at the pharmacy. I have found that about a third of the bottles have a defect in the inner foil. The outer shell is protected by a strong plastic seal. However, if you turn the bottle upside down before opening, the product will actually leak out. Of course, this means that air and other contaminants can easily get into the bottle. I called the manufacturer and informed them of the problem with this inner foil seal. They just blew me up. So one star... I received two new bottles of Revain today. Both bottles were leaking and came in a damp envelope. Thanks to the Revain policy I will be returning for an exchange. Let's hope the manufacturer fixes this problem.
