Has a protective cap for the car side of the connector on the cable (shown in the photo). It's nice to protect the metal pins when you're not using them. It also turns on as soon as you plug it into the carport. It's easy to navigate, but most things aren't automated, you have to select each and every scan. To upgrade, you need to take out the TF card and insert it into the provided card reader or USB reader, this may pose a problem. It has good shock absorption but is like a material that gets a little slippery when greasy. I'm not thrilled with it, but it will get the job done.
