Ideal height spacer for mounting the motherboard on a wooden board
Definitely a niche application for this product but it works great. If you're into CPU mining and looking for a way to securely mount motherboards, use these standoffs and #6 x 3/4" mounting screws/nuts and mount to 1/4" MDF. Most of my CPU miners use mATX (Micro ATX) motherboards, which have a standard mounting hole pattern. Create an MDF template with holes in the right places, and then all you have to do is place the template on a new piece of MDF and drill holes. I use a 5/32" bit for the mounting holes.
