Review on 🔊 Fender Rumble 40 v3 Bass Combo Amplifier: Unleash Powerful Bass Tones by Kyle Kriglstein

I've been reading about people interested in Rumbles for a long time and decided to give it a try. I ordered the smallest Rumble 15 with the lowest power. To be honest I shouldn't have expected much because that's what I got - not much. You should also pay tribute to that - you shouldn't expect any bass from a cheap 8-inch speaker. It's just not gonna happen folks. You need to go AT LEAST 10 inches to get a real low end bass combo. The amp arrived very well packaged. Heavy box with good documentation and noise isolation. I loved the nice color scheme - the gloss gray grille with chrome Fender logo, clean rounded chrome corners and nice vinyl finish. The cream volume controls were a nice touch. The amp looked like it made sense. The electric cable is separate, like a computer cable. I pocketed it and pulled out my active Ibanez bass. Unfortunately, the amp sounded really bad - too much mids and no bass. When I turned the bass control to 2 o'clock, the sound started to distort heavily. I brought the bass back by noon and left the middle and hi at 12:00. Even then, it sounded thin and distorted at low volumes. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend the 8" Rumble to anyone just starting to learn bass. You might get frustrated and quit the game. At least buy a 10" combo that plays low notes without too much farting. The build quality and presentation are great, but the sound was terrible. Unfortunately, not recommended. Even for beginners.
