Absolute Plunge Drill. Material is not removed from side to side except to clean the groove. Effortlessly ejects material when immersed. Working on a VG fir bed and absolutely no problem. Good clean straight grooves. You will need a deep router for a full (1/2") router, or you will need to start with a smaller router to create the first slot.
