I ordered the XS which is said to be a size 5. My daughter is 3.5 years old, 38 pounds, 38 inches tall and wears a 4-5T and wears a size 5/XS. They appeared to fit "well," but noticed they were tight when she tried to pull her pants down herself. That's when I noticed they looked more like her 3-4T pants. They go straight to the donation pile because they are too small and have already worn them for 1/2 a day.
