A doctor's visit revealed that my blood pressure was higher than normal, so much so that the doctor was concerned. She suggested I begin monitoring it regularly at home. My wife (a retired nurse) retrieved her manual blood pressure cuff but the rubber had cracked. Considered replacing the rubber but came to realize purchasing an automatic blood pressure monitor was within the same price range as replacing the rubber from her manual blood pressure cuff. After careful review, I chose this unit. I could not be happier. IT is easy to use, seems to be quite accurate (it seems the blood pressure system my doctor's office is using isn't as accurate as you would think. I love the ability of this unit to store my blood pressure history; makes it quite easy to compare and review. A perfect automatic blood pressure monitor for my needs.
